As part of our larger Workforce Development Program, we operate a set of Culinary enterporises that employ the youth in our program, (proven –risk youth between the ages of 16 and 24, who are either gang-involved, court involved or single parents). We currently operate a café which is open to the public and a catering business. Next year we will come on line with a prepared-foods business in a second commercial kitchen that we are currently building. The youth in our programs receive a daily stipend and receive basic culinary training, serve-safe food handler certification, High school equivalency , and extensive life-skill coaching
