#GiveTogetherNow Grants Members $175,000 for Their Clients and Displaced Staff

The disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic is reverberating through FareStart's Catalyst Kitchens member network and the thousands of lives that utilize their services. Through crisis comes opportunities for communities to band together to take care of those in need during these unprecedented times.
The Stand Together Foundation and Family Independence Initiative recently launched their #GiveTogetherNow campaign, a rapid response effort to supply cash assistance to families most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible households receive a one-time cash payment of $500 to meet their immediate financial needs.
Through their generosity, we recently received 350 codes to distribute to our member network, a total of $175,000 in financial aid for our member’s clients or staff who lost their jobs.
We are grateful for the #GiveTogetherNow campaign and would like to share some words of gratitude from our members:
So grateful to share this with our valued employees that I was heartbroken to lay off. Thanks to CK and FareStart for remembering those of us who are using business as platform for mission – lots of loss this month. – RS Eden
This is SUPER exciting for our young people. Thank you!! – Café Reconcile
Thank you so much! This will definitely be so helpful to our students and alumni, as many are struggling – we are so grateful! Thank you! - Columbia Industries
