Catalyst Kitchens is a global initiative of Seattle-based FareStart.

FareStart began growing their nonprofit social services with for profit social enterprises more than 20 years ago.

Our restaurants, cafés, catering and contract meals provide great food for the community and transform lives.

The model is so effective we made a commitment to help build similar programs in communities around the world.

Humble beginnings

FareStart organically created a way to permanently break the cycle of joblessness, poverty and hunger.
